Abstract
The majority of studies on dementia have focused on the molecular events and the neuropathological features of the diseases. Here, I focus on the pathophysiology caused by the disease mechanisms. I will describe the alterations of neocortical neuronal firing patterns in transgenic mouse models of Alzheimer's Disease.
